As continuous work is carried out on the radar system, many procedural changes occur within technical manuals. Hence from time to time updates are released for the benefit of the end-user so that they may maintain their equipment in the best possible order.

However while many OEM's compile these updates, most of them forget to distribute them appropriately. This results in use of outdated procedures and the risk of expensive damage to the equipment.
